Invesco High Income Fund – Changes

Following a review by Invesco of its UK Equity fund range the Invesco High Income Fund (UK) will change its name to Invesco UK Equity High Income Fund (UK). The change will come into effect from 30 July 2020.

The fund objective will also change, effective from 30July 2020, to make it easier for investors to understand, measure performance and distinguish the fund from others in Invesco’s Equity range. The new objective and current objective can be seen below:

The Fund aims to achieve a high level of income together with capital growth over the long term (5 years plus).The fund aims to achieve a high level of income (greater than the income return of the FTSE All Share Index) and capital growth over the long term (5 years plus).

Additionally, with effect from 1 October 2020, the frequency of distribution payments will change from half-yearly to quarterly. This will provide investors with a more regular income stream, in line with the majority of other UK Equity Income funds. The future distribution dates will be; 28 February, 31 May, 31 August and 30 November each year.
